LEISURE LEARNING – June 12th, 2024

It was such a privilege to join the Leisure Learning Program at the University of West Florida, where I spoke about The Crystal Beads, Lalka’s Journey, and my upcoming book, All the Broken Angels, co-written with Steve Hardiman.

I want to thank Julie Still-Rolin, Program Director, for this wonderful feedback below:

Julie Still-Rolin and Pat Black-Gould UWF Leisure Learning Program
“In this presentation, Patricia Black-Gould took us on a journey through time exploring her own connection to the Holocaust, her writing process, her search for programs teaching about the Holocaust, and, of course, her finished work.
The Crystal Beads, Lalka’s Journey is a moving story about compassion and acceptance. Two people with opposing beliefs overcome their differences when there is a threat to the safety of a child. Patricia’s enthusiasm and passion for writing and for the topic is as immense as the weight and importance of her story.”  -- Julie Still-Rolin, Director of Leisure Learning, Continuing Education, University of West Florida
