Black-Gould and Hardiman receive the Royal Palm Literary Award from Florida Writers Association

What an honor to receive this award for our new book! We thank the Florida Writers Association (FWA) for receiving a Royal Palm Literary Award.

The competition is exclusive to members of the Florida Writers Association, a vibrant community of writers and other industry professionals committed to fostering literary excellence and camaraderie.

Winners like Black-Gould and Hardiman demonstrate an exceptional level of creativity, storytelling, and craft. Black-Gould and Hardiman’s novel, All the Broken Angels received the Silver Award in the Historical Fiction category by the judges amongst several other prestigious and esteemed writers.

All the Broken Angels tells the story of two cousins and best friends divided over the Vietnam War. When tragedy strikes, Cate's world turns upside down. Her quest for purpose and meaning becomes one of resilience and personal transformation. The novel is a profound exploration of love, loss, and the indomitable spirit of a generation that resonates far beyond the final page.
